Job title: Legal Officer
Reports to: Head of Legal &Compliance Department

PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Responsible for giving legal opinions in relation but not limited to the commercial, taxation, finance, property, employment, internet and corporate issues. Dealing with legal cases of the Bank and managing legal risks. Prepare strategy in legal proceeding and represent the Bank before the courts and other regulatory authorities. Manage Law-Suits against the Bank by providing legal advice, briefings, recommendations and reports to management of the Bank. Draft and negotiate contracts required by the Bank for its business. Collaborate with external attorneys in some cases, etc

MAIN DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Prepare, proofread, verify and edit correspondence and materials for extreme clarity and accuracy
•Coordinate with outside panel/Legal/Bailiff for all legal and bailiff issues starting from obtaining the court decision up to execution of collateral
•Examine the Agreements between Bank and Third parties and ensure bank’s interest are protected.

CRITERIA FOR THIS JOB PROFILE:
•Holds a University degree in Law preferable Master in Business law.
•Minimum 3 year of experience,
•Very good command of English language
•Very good command of Microsoft Package
•Very good verbal and written skills both in Albanian and English
•Very good time management skills and well organized
•Work as a team with colleagues and superiors
•Accurate and work with minimal supervision.
