Reports to the Project H&S Manager and provides assistance to the site H&S Manager in terms of Health.
He is responsible for coordinating and supervising all subcontracted medical staff, equipment and operations.

The Health Manager, will manage the medical staff under their responsibility and are responsible for:
· Pre-employment check-up of all personnel as per H&S procedure
· First aid training delivery to personnel.
· Health education and health promotion.
· Primary care and clinic management.
· Food handler hygiene.
· Immunization program.
· Emergency cases.
· Medical documentation records and reports (hard and soft copy).
· Maintenance of the clinic response capabilities in operational condition.

The medical supplies of the clinics, responder bags and first aid kits shall be in accordance with the medical/health assessment to be performed jointly by Contractor and Company.

All first aid provided will be reported and logged by the camp clinics and by the Health and Safety department.

Depending of the severity of the injury or illness, the available physician will determine the proper follow-up, i.e. medical treatment in the camp clinic or evacuation to a Hospital, medevac, etc.
