Tirana International Airport SHPK (“TIA”) is seeking for a:
PROJECT MANAGER

for the ‘Airfield 2020’ Project, which will run approximately from 2017 to December 2020. The position will report to the Director of Asset Management and Environment Department.

Main tasks and responsibilities of the position:
(for indicative purposes only. The responsibilities listed below can be subject of change upon recruitment)
Responsible for leading and coordinating the program “Airfield 2020”
Act as coordinator and facilitator between Asset Management and Environment Department, Project Development Group, Construction Execution Group and Stakeholder Committee
Plan and implement site inspections to ensure conformity of subcontractors in relation to material and works with the contract specifications
Supervise the work of subcontractors including measurement of quality, quantity and payment
Responsible for monitoring compliance of executed works with contractual and legal requirements
Prepare full technical documentation folders as a base for applying for different authorizations and permits from Albanian authorities
Responsible for maintaining the archive of construction works related to the program

Requirements of the position:
University Degree in Construction Engineering
At least 5 working years of experience in related job responsibilities
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Analytical and numerical skills
Ability to prepare quality reports; writing letters; preparing and delivering effective presentations
Committed to providing a high standard of service and continuous improvement
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Adept at Auto CAD and Microsoft Office software
Fluent in English language
