We are looking for a software engineer with mid-level experience in PHP to work on our Magento projects. The ideal candidate will have strong web application fundamentals and have experience with frameworks such as Zend. Exceptional problem solving abilities will be critical for success.
The successful candidate will participate in the entire lifecycle of the product development ranging from informing design through to build, testing and support.

Main responsibilities:
Contribute to the design and development of world-class ecommerce solutions focusing on the Magento platform.
Collaborating with other members of our development team to produce bespoke features for our various clients
Planning and estimating new development work
Troubleshooting software issues and providing fixes
Develop and maintain technical documentation related to the project.

Requirements:
At least 2 years experience working with PHP and JavaScript.
Experience in software development 2 + years.
Experience with frameworks such as Zend Framework, Laravel, Prototype(JS), JQuery(JS).
Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming principles.
Knowledge with working on Relational Databases (MySQL).
Experience working with git (or similar) 2+ years.
A solid understanding of common ecommerce principles / features
Basic HTML knowledge

Would be a bonus:
Magento Experience.
Magento and/or Zend certifications.
Advanced experience with PHP MVC frameworks (Yii, Zend, Symfony, Laravel, etc.).
Experience with Javascript frameworks (AngularJS, Backbone.js, Knockout.js, Node.js, etc.).
Experience of working with the composer.
Experience of working with Jira and agile methodologies.
Good English.
A working knowledge of unit testing, Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI)
Experience of working with common ecommerce integrations (CRM / ERP etc..)
Basic DevOps and SysAdmin experience (Linux)
