Albanian College Tirana is an international school based on the IB curriculum, where all subjects are taught in English. We are open to accept applications for the position of HR Specialist.

Duties:
- Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements;
- Submits work permit and residence permit applications with relevant authorities in a timely fashion;
- Provides advice and maintains an open communication with all staff members;
- Keeps employee records up to date by processing employee status changes in timely fashion;
- Prepares new-hire paperwork;
- Assists in hiring process by coordinating job posting on the website, reviewing resumes, and performing telephone interviews and reference checks;
- Informs job applicants of job duties, responsibilities, benefits, schedules, working conditions, and promotion opportunities;
- Addresses any employment relations issues, such as work complaints and harassment allegations;
- Maintains the employee handbook with updated resolutions and other pertinent information, as needed;
- Ensures strict confidentiality and discretion is maintained at all times as related to employee matters;
- Performs any administrative tasks assigned by the Senior Manager.

Requirements:
- Degree in Law or a Master's degree in relevant field;
- Minimum 3 years work experience in Human Resources or similar position;
- Excellent written and spoken English, minimum C1 score on IELTS;
- Must have a proficient working knowledge of applicable governmental regulations as they pertain to Human Resources;
- Must have investigative and analytical skills in order to evaluate legal issues and make judgments to correctly administer company policies and procedures;
- Able to work with minimal direct supervision and exercise initiative;
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills a must;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet research;
- Experience working in an international environment preferred.
