SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

Job brief:
ATU is looking for a SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR to support our growing network. You will be part of a team that is responsible for designing and developing salable, maintainable, highly available network architectures that meet business objectives and SLAs.

Main responsibilities include:
•Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as company-wide backups
• Manage day-to-day problems with operating systems of Servers and PCs.
• To act as a provider of IT services (PCs), Windows Servers, Printers, end-user support.
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
• Performs and Manages all system back-up and restore protocols
• Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
• Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
• Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
• Communicate with vendors for problem resolution

Technical Skills and Requirements:
·Strong working knowledge in administering, maintaining and expanding IT infrastructure using Microsoft Windows Server 2012, Exchange Server 2013, VM ware ESXi platform, Databases.
· Working knowledge in Linux Operating System Services like DNS, radius etc.
· Working with Antivirus and Spam Filtering systems.
· Basic knowledge in Web Development.
· Microsoft Certifications or similar are an advantage.
