Fundraising Coordinator
Contract: Permanent
Location: Tirane, Shqiperi

We are currently recruiting for a Fundraising Coordinator who will be responsible for the Volunteers who will ensure the Islamic Relief Albania’s message is communicated to all in the community and to create awareness which will result and instigate community support for activities in fundraising. The job holder’s responsibilities will be to develop and implement strategies to increase the funding income through a wide range of initiatives via the acquisition and retention of supporters in Albania.

The job holder will actively recruit individuals and manage accounts to delivery budgets, targets an income within the National plans and strategies. In addition, enlarge a growing profile of committed volunteers to develop the fundraising prospect who will actively fundraise for Islamic Relief.

The successful candidate must have knowledge of the motivation and management needs of volunteers, together with the legal requirements and techniques that affect community based fundraising.
The candidate should show proven abilities in well developed interpersonal skills, the motivation, mentor and coaching of individuals to achieve goals. Importantly, the ability to initiate and develop their own ideas and action plans, together with resilient and implementing solutions when dealing with setbacks.
The individual must have their driving licence and the readiness to travel and also work outside normal office hours, which includes travel throughout Albania and late nights and/or overnight stays.
