The PLAZA Tirana is looking for BANQUETING COORDINATOR

POSITION SUMMARY:
Banqueting Coordinator is responsible for leading the team in delivering exceptional service for our guests and producing positive results. To supervise all phases of all type of banquet functions, Coordinate activity on a daily basis. Banquet supervisor should oversee banquet events and ensure that all service standards, departmental policies are followed by banquet staffs.

Banqueting Coordinator is responsible for:
1. Organizing the events based on all the details of the Event Order.
2. Organizing the set up as per the confirmation of the Sales Department.
3. Organizing the service staff, sharing them their duties.
4. Coordinating the service during the event.
5. Training the staff to offer a great performance and customer service.
6. The proper usage of all equipment’s in the Banquets.
7. Consistently implementing the service standards and operating procedures.
8. Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner.
9. Providing excellent customer service and ensure customer needs are met.
10. Supervising events and team members throughout service.
11. Guiding the Banquet servers in set up of tables and place settings.
12. Being familiar with all current and upcoming and updates for the event details
13. Resolving staff and customer concerns quickly and efficiently.
14. Coordinating with the Kitchen and housekeeping, technician and all departments related.
15. Scheduling of banquet staff, prepare weekly duty chart to correspond with banquet events.
16. The set up arrangement in the conference rooms, according to the requirements.
17. Beverage consumption, registering and managing the differences in and out.
18. Making beverage orders to the main store according to the event order.
19. Monthly inventory, consumption spreadsheet and banquet staff labors.
20. Arranging the area after the event, set up and cleanness.
21. Coordinating and collaborating with the team using a proper ethic language.
22. Planning, organizing and controlling the daily operations.
23. Delegating daily task to the banqueting staff.

General Qualifications & Requirements:
· University degree
· Fluently read, write, and speak English
· Previous experience in the hotel industry. Minimum 4 years of experience in an equal position.
· Great Knowledge of Food and Beverage services.
· Great communication and organization skills.
· Positive attitude.
· Great collaboration skills with the staff and departments related.
· Must be able to work under pressure and in all the scheduled time shifts of the events.
