On behalf of E DUA SPORTIN.COM, we are looking for a suitable candidate for the position of:
Editor-in-chief (Editor Manager)

Duties:
•The editor-in-chief is responsible for hiring, especially of the assistant editors;
•With the assistant editors, the editor-in-chief creates the editorial board, or outline, for each of the publication's editions or issues.
•The editor-in-chief reviews all articles and photos for accuracy as well as potential libel, and provides suggestions, if needed, about any changes to make before the publication goes to press or is released digitally.
•Layouts and designs need approval of the editor-in-chief. In the end, the editor-in-chief has the final word about which stories and photos get published.
•The editor-in-chief generates ideas for new ways of doing things, such as using new technology, implementing ways to increase readership, and how to utilize new media.
•The editor-in-chief should be a natural leader with the ability to engage and inspire the editors to complete their best work. He / She listens to the suggestions and opinions to make the publication a collaborative work;
•Whenever a social function happens, the editor-in-chief is the publication's representative, and some travel can be required.
•Managing daily e-newsletters, a website, magazines, research projects, webinars, video production, and other reader-driven content.
•Writing long features, breaking news, and blogs.

Requirements:
•Bachelor’s Degree (Journalism, Communications or related field)
•7+ years of related communications experience, preferably in media or digital media
•High personal/editorial standards.
•Excellent leadership qualities.
•Needs to possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, be detail-oriented, and creative.
•Previous editorial experience, especially in a decision-making capacity.
•Thorough understanding of digital media strategy, audience development, and social media distribution.
•Expertise in online news business.
•Come up with eye-catching and accurate headlines.
•Energetic and committed.
•Superior presentation and written and verbal communication skills.
•Strong leader, good sense of teamwork.
•Passionate fan of sports.
•Ability to work effectively with diverse viewpoints and approaches.
•Creative and innovative.
•Ability to tolerate stress and work efficiently even under pressure.
•Firm and prompt decision-maker.
•Proficient written and verbal English communication skills.
