Field Service Engineer (FSE)

Field Service Engineer:
The purpose of this position is to provide for the repair, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of electronic equipment used for security screening and cargo detection at the operations points of Durrės, Qafė Thanė, Kapshticė, Kakavijė, Morinė.
The Field Service Engineer will use independent judgment and discretion to ensure all facets of safety protocols are followed and that screening and detection equipment is operated and maintained at the highest level of efficiency and reliability.
The employee is expected to re-locate to/between various sites in Albania as required by the needs of S2 Albania.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Responsible on preventing system failure, detecting anomalies right on time, maintaining the system, and fixing issues, etc.
•Conduct on-site periodic and scheduled maintenance of a variety of electronic equipment including cargo screening devices and systems.
•Troubleshoot and repair electronic systems including x-ray imaging systems, power supplies, computers and servers, computer peripherals, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems using technical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics and blueprints and service documentation.

KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE and ATTRIBUTES
•University Degree in engineering, preferable to have also finished professional schools, including electronics, mechatronic or relevant technical fields. Certifications in these fields are preferred.
•Confident in the use of hand tools.
•Have at least two (2) years of experience in the repair and maintenance of equipments and especially of electronic systems, electrical systems, UPSs etc.
•Skills in IT, able to solve hardware problems on servers and computers, on update software configurations, backups and restoring on servers and computers as needed, networking etc
•Very good communication skills, English speaking is a plus.
•Pass an employment security investigation background check, and pass a drug screening test.
•Demonstrate daily fitness for duty and exhibit a professional demeanour at all times.
•Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record for purposes of insurability.
•Satisfactorily complete all training requirements.
•Occasional travel both domestically and international may be required.
