Our Company:
SIDERAL Sh.p.k. is a one stop shop center for top quality construction materials, located on the 24th km of the main highway connecting Tirana and Durres.
SIDERAL Sh.p.k. is a subsidiary of SIDENOR Group in Albania and mainly distributes steel products of SIDENOR Group in Albania but also stands as a one-stop center for many other branded construction materials as aluminium products by ETEM S.A., ELVAL S.A. and ELVAL COLOUR S.A , copper, copper alloy and titan zinc products by HALCOR SA and SOFIA MED SA, cables by CABLEL HELLENIC CABLES, various steel products by SIDMA, PANELCO and ERLIKON.

Role:
The firm is looking for a Head Accountant in, who will be in charge of all accounting issues regarding the company, such as, postings, reporting, audit, tax, and cash management, as well as customs related issues.

The right candidate will be responsible for:
•Managing the daily financial/accounting operation, booking income invoices, managing the billing process, ensuring payments terms, improving cash flow etc.
•Preparing reporting on P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
•Handling customs and import/export issues
•Ensuring that statutory accounts and tax accounts are kept according to the respective rules
•Interacting with the Company’s Auditors and Banks

Requirements:
The right candidate should have the following abilities:
•Excellent command in English; knowledge of the Greek language would be considered an asset
•Degree in Accounting Finance / Economics or equivalent from a respectable University
•At least 5 years’ experience as an Accountant in a Local or International Company
•Good knowledge of the local accounting, tax and insurance regulations
•Knowledge of IFRS
•Experience in customs and import/export procedures
•Self-motivated individual, team player, hardworking and committed individual
•Dynamic, flexible thinker, full of energy, with impeccable integrity and loyalty
•Experience with MS Office and accounting software packages is required
•knowledge of SAP system software package is desirable
•Possess experience in daily interaction with banks, payment orders, transfers, cash flow and collections
•Possess the ability to handle multiple tasks.
