HEALTH AND SAFETY (H&S) OFFICER

A Health & Safety, (HS) officer, assists the H&S manager (or H&S officer) in improving operating activities while ensuring adherence to regulations mandated by government, Client requirements on H&S, or other authorities.

Education and experience:
H&S officer position requires an earned associate's degree and several years of experience in the health, safety field.
Regulatory compliance and reporting are a big part of this job as well as investigation of incidents. Supervisors may be required to oversee p.e. the H&S of transportation, pipeline construction processes or employee alcohol or drug testing.

Tasks and responsibilities:
Documentation and reporting
Coaching workforce of HSE issues
Maintain accurate records of any accidents, violations, or other incidents and have these documents up-to-date and ready for inspection by internal management or government officials at any time.
Reporting Near miss and potential hazard
Carry out regular H&S inspections
Assist in investigation of incidents
Assist in H&S campaigns
Increase the safety awareness of the workforce( ocaching)

Skills:
Speaking and writing fluently Albanian
Speaking and writing English
Degree in H&S education
5 years of experience in construction activities related tot our work
Additional: understand and speaks French/Spanish/ Portugese
