Job Announcement – Senior Accountant / Chief Accountant
Kredo Finance is a Financial Institution providing a scope of financial services, including payday and consumer loans operating in emerging markets. Based on the proven experience in the industry and head office in Tirane the company aims to offer consumer finance and microfinance services to private individuals with the most convenient borrowing process for the customer.

Our team consists of financial, IT, and customer care professionals who are experts in their field. Due to geographic expansion, we are inviting ambitious professionals to apply for the position of Senior Accountant.

The Role will involve:
•Impairment calculation and portfolio reports and calculation (gross vs. net portfolio and impairment)
•In this role, the successful candidate will report directly to the General manager
•This person will be the main point of contact and lead on the provision of all accountancy, general ledger, audit and taxation services
•Will comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed action
•Will maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
•Dealing with emergency cases and full account reconciliations
•Develop reports for management
•Recommendation for financial actions by analysing accounting options
•Compute taxes and prepare tax returns, book keeping balance sheet, profit/loss statement etc.
•Conduct month-end and year-end close process
•Prepare and perform necessary personnel payroll and benefits including regulatory reporting to tax authorities

The Ideal candidate will demonstrate:
•University diploma
•Proficiency in English language
•Proven track record of producing high quality accountancy work of at least 2 years
•Knowledge of accounting for finance companies with scope of business in lending industry
•Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
•High level of numeracy and attention to details
•Proficiency in using Accounting software
•Complete proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel
•Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
